Richmond Area VE Testing Information for 2010

There are two amateur radio organizations in the Richmond area that provide VE Exams on a regular basis. The Richmond Amateur Radio Club (RARC) and Pat Wilson’s group (RAVE).  RARC offers exams every ODD MONTH and RAVE provides testing on EVEN MONTHS.  Exams are usually held the second Saturday of each month.

RARC offers VE Testing Sessions on the second Saturday of odd months except in March and November when they are held on a Thursday evening at the end of our license prep classes.

Exam dates for 2010:

January 9,   May 8,   July 10,   September 11

Exams begin at 9:00 AM.

March 18 and November 18

Exams begin at 7:00 PM.

Exams are given at Bon Air United Methodist Church, 1645 Buford Road, in the Bon Air area of Richmond.  Testing fee for 2010 is $15.00.

RAVE VE Testing Sessions – 2010

Pat Wilson’s VE Testing Group, RAVE, provides testing on even months in the Richmond area. Exams are held on the second Saturday every even month. Time and location may change for these exams, so it is best to visit Pat Wilson’s website www.w4pw.org for more specific information.
