There are two amateur radio organizations in the Richmond area that provide VE Exams on a regular basis. The Richmond Amateur Radio Club (RARC) and Pat Wilson?s group (RAVE). RARC offers exams every ODD MONTH and RAVE provides testing on EVEN MONTHS. Exams are usually held the second Saturday of each month.

RARC offers VE Testing Sessions on the second Saturday of odd months

Exam dates for 2012:

January 14, March 10, May 12, July 14, September 8, and November 10
Exams begin at 9:00 AM.

Exams are given at Bon Air United Methodist Church, 1645 Buford Road, in the Bon Air area of Richmond.  Testing fee for 2012 is $15.00. (cash, exact change please)
